![]() ![]() We couldn't find a way to improve on the design of the PCB assembly, but we have given the PRO Series a striking new metallic-blue front panel. Over the past ten years, the Isopatch Bantam has gained a firm reputation for reliability value and we now introduce the Isopatch Bantam PRO Series. It can also be used for mixer insert points without the need for special 'splitter' leads. The Isopatch can be used for most types of audio signal including mono, stereo, balanced and unbalanced lines. Alternatively, direct solder versions are available with on board cable-tie points for every channel. The redesigned PCB now offers 25 way D-sub connectors wired to the Tascam 38/88 pattern, so that wiring looms can be made up separately, then just plugged in on site. In fact, if the Isopatch Bantam is already installed, you don't even have to unplug the rear connectors. Unlike conventional patch panels, the Isopatch offers half or full normalising on every channel by simply soldering across special 'program pads' on the top PCB - No need for tedious hard-wiring. The use of flexible jumper cables between top and bottom PCBs means that the Isopatch Bantam can be opened up for servicing if needed. All components are mounted on two horizontal printed circuit boards (PCBs) which makes the Isopatch Bantam very solid and gives full access to most of the circuitry including parallel points and the special 'program pads' for normalising. Contacts are silver or gold plated phosphor-bronze with optional solid palladium switch contacts. ![]() The twin Bantam Jack used in the Isopatch Bantam is of an enclosed design that helps to keep out the contaminants that shorten contact life, with spacing to accept twin 'stereo' plugs. The Bantam Jack, designed and built to withstand the heavy duty use encountered in a professional environment, offers superior contact performance in a much smaller space. ![]() I try to figure out a way to make this easier to handle but i think im either to tired or simply dont have a clear picture of what i want. The Signex Isopatch Bantam is based on the same design that has made the Isopatch so popular, but uses the 4.4mm 'Bantam' Jack widely accepted in professional studios. ![]() Ipad (used sometimes as daw or sound-module) 2 audio interfaces 4 mono inputs each, one is attached to my desktop (other is free used as portable solution mostly) This is the stuff i have at home at the moment the partial obvious answer seems a bigger (more inputs) interface or a mixer but then i still have the midi-keyboards issue leftÄo you have something similar, or can you make a mental picture of a working or semi-working setup? just a wild stab in the dark, thanks for any inputs I try to figure out a way to make this easier to handle but i think im either to tired or simply dont have a clear picture of what i want. and then getting sound out to my monitors of course, yet another recurrent problem! then sometimes wanting to record into ipad and then other days into the regular daw, then into mpc live. usbs to connect midi keyboards to either mpc, daw, ipad Its fun but a lot of connecting and disconnecting of: In studio ive worked with slightly different setups mostly itb, now at home these recent year i find myself often testing very much my mpc and ipad back and forth (plus with my regular daw) ![]()
